Antalya, also known as the Turkish Riviera is the fifth-most populous and fastest-growing city in Turkey and the capital of its eponymous province. It is situated on a cliff in the southern part of the Anatolia peninsula, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and is Turkey's biggest international sea resort. The length of the Antalya shore is 640km. Large-scale development and governmental funding have promoted tourism in recent years.
