The ship's capacity is for 3,014–3,617 passengers depending on configuration. Crew: about 1,100 or so. There are 1,508 Cabins in different categories. With a length of 290 metres and 13 passenger decks, passengers are offered plenty of fun, entertainment and comfort. This travel video shows a full day trip from Punta Cana to Saona Island (Isla Saona) - a slice of paradise in the Caribbean sea. The most common way to access the island is through organized tours. The excursion starts at 7.30 am with a pick up from your hotel and ends at 18.30 back to your hotel. Usually through organized group tours you have 2-3 hours on the beach of Saona. The island is not close to Punta Cana. The transportation of tourists runs a bit slowly, so most of the time you spend travelling either by bus or boat. First, you travel by bus from your hotel to Bayahibe where you board a boat / catamaran and continue to Saona island. On the way there is a 30 min stop to swim in a beautiful natural pool. On the boat they play Latino music and dance. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Once on the beach of Saona island you will have a lunch included in the price of your excursion. Saona Island is a stunning paradise located off the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It features several beaches. The beaches are heavenly beautiful with soft sand, blue waters and amazing palm trees that invite you to sit under their thick shadow. Usually the big concentration of tourists occurs in the middle of the beach. If you're willing to walk a little further to the left or right end of the beach, you will find more secluded areas with just few people around you.
